Inspiration
Legend Black & White
This very “ethnic” silk twill ribbon uses redundant elements from the works of the artist Caroline Basuyau, exotic plants, especially palm branches and taro leaves. In Melanesia taro is a very important element of tribal culture and rituals, according to custom, taro represents woman and generosity. In these remote Pacific islands, taro is a precious gift offered to important people and a symbol of abundance during major customary meetings.
Palm Green
In Polynesia, the tiki is very important, it symbolizes the half-human, half-godly ancestor who was the first man. It is a sculpture that serves as a protection for houses, it is commonly placed in the garden or at the entrance of buildings to prevent evil spirits from entering. It is for this purpose that the emblem of Maison Fétiche has been designed, so that it becomes the protector of your inner “house”.
Blue Sky Ibiscus
The hibiscus is the flower of love. In Polynesia, this flower is carried by the vahines (young women) on the right ear if it is a heart to be taken and on the left ear, if it is no longer. In the language of flowers, hibiscus has as its first meaning the expression of passion and true love. The hibiscus is considered as a very feminine flower, in some cultures, it is even the symbol of the perfect woman, the Maison fétiche woman !
